The Lakeview School District Board of Education unanimously selected Jeff Perry to fill an open position on the board during a special public meeting on September 27.
Jeff is the Senior Director Finance - CFO Natural & Insurgent Category at Kellogg Company and is involved in numerous volunteer organizations affiliated with his children’s interests and activities.
“Lakeview has provided my children a first-class education and has prepared them for their future endeavors academically, emotionally and socially. This is due to the long-lasting legacy of Lakeview School District’s commitment to providing a well-rounded, safe and diverse experience…My priority as a board member is to preserve this legacy for years to come for all students,” he shared.
A Lakeview resident since 2008, Jeff and his wife Anne have three children - Ben and Lilly attend Lakeview High School and Max is a 2021 LHS graduate.
Jeff was one of three applicants to apply and interview for the position. He will serve the remainder of the term of Leah Ortiz, who resigned in August after accepting a new job opportunity outside of the area. The appointment will run through December of 2024 at which time the seat will be determined in the November 2024 general election.
