1/8/2018 ORS Refund Update

Dear Lakeview Employees,

You are probably aware of the Supreme Court decision regarding the 3% withholding.  The courts have ordered these funds be returned to ORS members employed from July 2010 through September 2012, which includes current employees, retirees, and ex-employees of the district.  ORS has issued information that they will send us the amounts for each person and the funds are to be disbursed to the district with the January State Aid payment, January 22, 2018.

We will be working on developing plans for getting those funds turned around as quickly as possible, but this may take some time to find out all the answers so we appreciate your patience. 

If you are in contact with retirees or ex-employees of our district, please remind them to update their address with the Business Office.  They can do so by emailing their change of address information to Pam Behling at  We will also be posting updates to our website (will be located in the Quick Links area). 

The best thing you can do now is confirm and/or update your contact information in your  MiAccount is accurate and complete!  This will help both ORS and the district process your refund with the correct information. Here is the link to get into your MiAccount:
