About Mr. Z:

Welcome to my webpage.  This year I will be teaching AP Government, AP World History, and World History "A" and "B."  I am in my eighth year teaching at Lakeview High School.  I attended Michigan State University, graduating in 2006, earning degrees in social studies and political science.  I earned my Master's degree from Western Michigan University in 2012.

In my spare time I enjoy running, road biking, hiking, camping, and cooking.  I am the Boys Varsity Cross Country coach, middle school girls assistant track coach and the co-advisor of student government.  I also advise the Youth-In-Government and Project Close-Up.
